Robin W.
Landis
Mar 23, 1960 — Oct 4, 2021
Robin (Wiren) Landis , 61, of Telford, PA, formerly of Perkasie, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Grand View Hospital.
She was the loving wife of the late Laverne Ziegler Landis for 27 years. Robin was born in Elkins Park, PA to Ruth (Smart) Wiren of Perkasie, PA and the late Raymond M. Wiren, Jr.
She graduated from Faith Christian Academy in Sellersville, PA, class of 1978. Robin then graduated from Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, FL with an associate's degree in business administration in 1980.
She began her employment as an office worker in the post office at Bergey's in Franconia. Robin then worked as a kitchen and bath designer at the former Snyder's Hardware in Hatfield, as a deli attendant at Landis Supermarket in Telford, and also as an at-home patent proofreader for Reed Technologies in Hatboro-Horsham. She lastly was employed as an office manager for Clemens Excavating & Septic Service in Telford, PA.
Robin was an active member of Faith Baptist Church (now known as Faith Church of Sellersville) where she served as a Sunday school teacher, worked with the missions team, sang in the choir and other choral groups, and was part of the handbell choir. She was also a coach for Faith Christian Academy's varsity girls' basketball team.
Robin was ever devoted to her family and spending time with them was of utmost importance to her. She absolutely loved her granddaughter, her daughter, her nieces, and her nephews. Robin also loved music. You'd often catch her singing, dancing and even playing the piano at her home, and while you'd hear her sing at church on a Sunday you better believe she was jamming out to Bon Jovi on her way home. Throughout the years Robin specifically enjoyed playing basketball in high school, doing small DIY projects and crafting as a newlywed, sewing, cooking and baking, coaching her basketball girls, designing kitchens and bathrooms for family and friends (and even herself), digging into the latest and greatest political happenings and cheering on her Philadelphia sports teams. And although she never made it to England, Robin loved all things royal. She was an avid reader and particularly favored biographies and the Bible. Robin especially enjoyed going to beaches like Sunset Beach, NC, Outer Banks, NC and Ocean City, MD.
Robin was a joyful, bubbly, happy, vibrant, cheery woman. She was hardworking, strong willed, and always had a very positive outlook on life, fervently devoted to serving the Lord and following His will for her life. Robin had a great sense of humor, always had a big smile on her face, was constantly laughing and making others laugh, and was friendly to everyone and tried to lend a helping hand whenever she could, even if she didn't get anything out of it in the end. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all that were blessed to have known her.
Robin is survived by her daughter, Erin K. Landis Mendoza & husband, Jonathan Mendoza of Stephens City, VA; her granddaughter, Leah Rae Mendoza of Stephens City, VA; her three sisters, Rebecca Safford & husband, John of Des Moines, IA; Ramona Hoffman & husband, Stephen of Shohola, PA; Rachel Menin & husband, Scott of Warminster, PA; her brother, R. Michael Wiren III & wife, Amber of Perkasie, PA; and her numerous nieces and nephews.
