Roger C. Moyer , 83, of Quakertown, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2023 at Quakertown Center, Quakertown, PA.

He was born in Quakertown, PA to late Wilmer H. Moyer and the late Ida (Harwi) Moyer.

Roger graduated from Quakertown High School in 1958. He went on to earn his Bachelor's  Degree in English from Iowa Wesleyan University, a Master's Degree in English from Suny University in Cortland NY and a Master's Degree in Education from Temple University in Philadelphia PA.

Roger loved to learn and loved to teach, becoming fluent in Japanese. He spent 8 years living in Japan teaching the English language to students of all ages. He enjoyed learning about their culture and customs. He was a very talented, award winning potter and enjoyed sharing his craft with many people he met throughout his life. Above all else, Roger's happiest moments were the wonderful times he spent with his beloved dogs. They were his family and he loved each one and cherished their memories.

Roger is survived by his sister Nancy Kay Burke of Essex Junction, Vermont, nieces Lauren, Kathryn, Wendy, Tracy and nephew Arthur along with many great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Carolyn (Arthur) Baner.

Services will be private at the family's convenience.
