Ronald John Gottshall , 78, of Souderton, formerly of Telford, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, August 2, 2021 at the Souderton Mennonite Homes.

He was married to Misue (Kawakita) Gottshall for 57 years. Ron was born in Hatfield, PA to the late Walter K. and Catherine (Huber) Gottshall.

He graduated from Lansdale High School class of 1963, and then entered the US Navy where he was stationed in Japan.

Ron was employed as a Carpenter for Dale Construction, Glenside, PA, retired early, and then spent the next 15 years as a professional driver for an auto auction company.

He was an avid golfer and a huge fan of Tiger Woods. Ron also enjoyed reading about World War II history.

In addition to his wife, Misue, he is survived by his son, Gary K. Gottshall and his wife Kipling of West Simsbury, CT; his daughter, Nancy G. Case and her husband Brian of Wyncote, PA; his granddaughter, Kaiya Case of Wyncote, PA; his two grandsons, Avery Gottshall and Rowan Gottshall of West Simsbury, CT; and his sister, Arlayne Clemens of Lansdale, PA.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret L. Stoudt and his two brothers, William H. Gottshall, and Robert R. "Skip" Gottshall.

There will be a private family viewing and burial.

He will be laid to rest at Hatfield Cemetery, 2711 Penn Avenue, Hatfield, Pennsylvania 19440.
