Rose M. (Brawner) Santoni , 74, of Hatfield, formerly of Emmaus went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Abington Lansdale Hospital.
She was the loving wife of the late David W. Santoni of 39 years. Rose was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late William Richard and Nellie (Wingate) Brawner.
A graduate of Good Counsel and Southern High School. Rose lived in Locust Point and then Federal Hill. She was an au pair and supports service worker. Providing nurturing, compassionate care for children including her special needs granddaughter Rose.
She was a member of the ladies of VFW and Book of the Month Clubs. She was generous and gave to many Charitable Organizations to help others in need.
She enjoyed books and was an avid reader. She loved Ocean City Maryland and spent time vacationing there. She enjoyed cruises and relaxing with family. She loved games and wagering striking the balance between games of skill and chance.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Brawner of Hatfield, PA, her son William Brawner and wife Laura of Baltimore, MD; her 2 step-daughters, Christina and Angela Santoni her seven grandchildren, William, Rose, Adam, Joseph, Victoria,Holly and Jaxyn; her two great-grandchildren, Noah and Riley; and her beloved sister, Catherine Everhart of Dundalk MD.
Memorial contributions may be made to: MECA- Mission for Educating Children with Autism. MECA is a 501(c) (3) organization serving children and adults including her granddaughter Rose Marie. MECA 100 E. Lancaster Avenue Suite #130 Downingtown PA 19335.
A Memorial and Celebration of Life service date and time will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced in the future to family and friends.
