Roy Dale Musselman , 79, of Lansdale, PA; passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Grand View Hospital.

He was married to his high school sweetheart, Anna Louise (Meyers) Musselman, for almost 60 years. Their marriage relationship of choosing each other daily was an example of unselfish love.  Roy was born in Sellersville, PA to the late Roy B. Musselman and the late Ruth (Clemens) Musselman.  He graduated in 1963 from Christopher Dock Mennonite High School (now Dock Mennonite Academy) in Lansdale, PA. Roy served in 1W Service for two years in Hanover NH working as an orderly at Mary Hitchcock Hospital.

Roy was a kind, friendly man who genuinely greeted others with a smile and a twinkle in his eye.  In his presence, people felt loved and seen.  In his personal and professional life, he managed his tasks and relationships with dedication, respect, connectivity and integrity.

Roy owned and operated Roy's Choice Meats at the former Germantown Farmer's Market in Philadelphia. He began a second career in development at Indian Creek Foundation, Souderton, PA and then was employed as an Associate of Development at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, VA.  He was given an opportunity to establish a development program at Penn View Christian School in Souderton, PA; his career ended after a few months because of a debilitating stroke in 1994.

Roy was active in serving his community. He was a member of Salford Mennonite Church where he served in various capacities including youth sponsor, usher, church council chair, and deacon. He also drove for Harleysville Ambulance and served for a number of years on the Indian Creek Foundation board. Following his stroke, he volunteered by mowing the church cemetary and cleaning the sanctuary weekly for many years. He also volunteered at Grand View Hospital and drove for Meals on Wheels.

Roy loved spending time with his family and friends. Previous to the stroke, he enjoyed bowling, golfing, hunting, and playing church league team sports. He also enjoyed playing table games, especially Pinochle, following Philadelphia and college sports, traveling, and eating good food.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Michelle Lynn Rutt & husband, Richard Douglas of Ephrata, PA; his son, Corey Lee Musselman & wife, Kimberly Susan of Quakertown, PA; his three granddaughters, Katherine Anna Kruis & husband, John Paul of Columbia, PA, Joy Elise Rutt & husband, Zachary Crichlow Ives of Ithaca, NY, Rebecca Laura Camacho & husband, Humberto William (TJ) of Easton, PA; his grandson, Brett Andrew Musselman & fiancé, Alexis Marie Pfaff of Quakertown, PA; his great-grandson, Jack Edwin Kruis of Columbia, PA; and his three sisters, Joan Martin of Harrisonburg, VA, Nancy Clemens of Harrisonburg, VA, Lois Nissley & husband, John of Findley, OH.

In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Bernard Martin & Philip Clemens.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Salford Mennonite Church, 480 Groff's Mill Road, Harleysville, PA, followed by a service honoring Roy's life at 7:00 pm. Inurnment will take place at the convenience of the family.

The service will be livestreamed on Salford Mennonite Church YouTube Channel.
