Ruth M. (Detwiler) Keller , 95, of Harleysville, PA; formerly of Souderton, PA went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Peter Becker Community.

Ruth was the loving wife of the late Claude F. Keller for 36 years. She was born in Franconia Twp., PA to the late Harry D. Detwiler and the late Stella (Moyer) Detwiler.

Ruth worked as a nurse's aide for the former Sacred Heart Hospital in Norristown, then as a packager for the former Sparks Pill Company in Harleysville, PA, and then on her husband's farm in Harleysville. She was employed as a sales clerk for Franconia Heritage Restaurant in Telford where she cleaned and worked in the bakery.

Ruth was a former member of Rockhill Mennonite Church (now known as Ridgeline Community Church) in Telford where she was involved with the Ladies Sewing Circle. She volunteered for the Material Resources Center in Harleysville.

Ruth enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, flowers, cooking, and her cats. She also enjoyed day trips to Lancaster.

Ruth was a kind and generous lady who had a good sense of humor and was willing to help others.

She is survived by her step-daughter, Kay Irene Derstine & husband, James of Souderton, PA; her nephew, Clyde Detwiler & wife, Charlotte of Souderton, PA; and her niece, Louise Martin & husband, Galen of Ephrata, PA.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her step-son, Larry Keller.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Ridgeline Community Church, 3100 Meetinghouse Road, Telford, Pennsylvania 18969 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am.

Burial will take place at Rockhill Mennonite Cemetery.
