Sadie (Mininger) Grass , 96, of Souderton, formerly of Sellersville, PA & Hilltown Twp., PA went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Grand View Hospital.

She was the loving wife of the late Bernyce R. Grass for 52 years. Sadie was born in Hatfield, PA to the late Joseph Mininger and the late Mary (Dettra) Mininger.

She graduated from Hatfield High School, class of 1942. Sadie was employed as a seamstress for the former Wismer Pants Factory in Silverdale, PA for many years.

Throughout her married lifetime, she was a member of Hilltown Baptist Church where she assisted in the church nursery and was active with the senior activities of the church. Sadie volunteered at the Souderton Mennonite Homes as a seamstress in her apartment for other guests.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing, bus trips, playing Pinochle, board games, and attending Bible study group.

Sadie is survived by her two sons, Barry R. Grass of Marco Island, FL, B. Rodney Grass & wife, Sharon of Souderton, PA; her three grandchildren; and her four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Peggy Grass; her five brothers, Milton, Joe, Edward, Robert, & Francis Mininger; and her four sisters, Sally Detweiler, Dorothy Souder, Evelyn Ambrose, & Elizabeth Kemp.

Service will be private at the convenience of the family.

Inurnment will take place at Hilltown Baptist Church Cemetery.
