Sandra "Sandie" Joan (Powell) Behrig , 64, of Souderton, PA passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022 at her residence.

She was the loving wife of Richard "Rick" Paul Behrig for 30 years. Sandie was born in Sellersville, PA to the late John Henry Powell and the late Joan Pauline (Bedwell) Powell.

She graduated from Souderton High School in Souderton, class of 1975. Sandie then received her project management certification from Villanova University. She was employed as a shipper/receiver for the former Ford Electronics in North Wales, PA for 27 years.

Sandie was a member of the United Auto Workers Local 1695 in Lansdale. She was a member of Souderton Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Sandie enjoyed traveling, swimming, socializing, dining out, going to the casinos, and listening to classic rock. She loved cats, flower gardening, and muscle cars, especially her 2002 Mustang GT.

Sandie was an awesome wife and a great mother. She was a bubbly, outgoing, charming, kind, outspoken woman who had a great sense of humor and was a true loyal friend.

In addition to her husband, Sandie is survived by her two sons, Eric Robert Leidy of Pennsburg, PA, Daniel Patrick Behrig of Allentown, PA; and her daughter, Kristin Anne Leidy of Norristown, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard James Behrig.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 11:00 am at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, Pennsylvania 18964, followed by an informal visitation at 12:00 pm.

A future inurnment will take place at St. John Neumann Cemetery.
