Sandra "Sandie" L. (Kooker) Driscoll, 80, of Perkasie, PA; formerly of King of Prussia, PA passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at her residence.
Sandie was the loving wife of Norman Driscoll for 19 years. She was born in Telford, PA to the late Willard Kooker and the late Pearl (Swartley) Kooker.
Sandie graduated from Souderton Area High School, class of 1961.
Sandie worked as an administrative assistant for Callahan Bearings in Colmar, PA and then for McNeil Pharmaceuticals in Ft. Washington, PA.
Sandie was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hilltown, PA where she was part of the Bell Choir and often was a soloist bell performer. She was also a member of the church council and on the music committee.
Sandie was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with the grandsons and making Christmas cookies with them was a favorite. She also loved playing the piano. She enjoyed traveling, especially on cruises, going to casino to play the slots, and going to the beach. She was also a yard sales enthusiast and was an expert haggler at getting the best deal.
Sandie was an independent thinker and enjoyed a good argument. She was a strong-willed woman who had a dry sense of humor.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Barbara Shank & husband, Eddie of Gilbertsville, PA; her son, Jason Driscoll & husband, James Stewart of Philadelphia, PA; her two grandsons, Brenden & Derrick Rush, both of Telford, PA; her sister, Patricia Walsh of Blue Bell, PA; her three brothers, Glen Kooker & wife, Ruth of Perkasie, PA, Gregory Kooker & wife, Bonnie of Harleysville, PA, and Bradley Kooker of Telford, PA.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1530 Augsburg Drive, Hilltown, PA 18927 from 9:30 am - 11:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 am.
A private inurnment will take place at Hilltown Union Cemetery.
