Sara Faye (Ochs) Moyer , 91, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Penns Park, PA went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Souderton Mennonite Homes.

She was the loving wife of the late John Nelson Moyer for 68 years. Sara Faye was born in Minersville, PA to the late Adam Ochs and the late Ruth (Oswald) Ochs.

She graduated from Minersville High School in Minersville, PA, class 1951. Sara Faye graduated from Temple University Nursing School in Philadelphia, PA, class of 1956 with an associate's degree in Nursing.

Sara Faye was employed as a Registered Nurse for multiple hospitals in the Greater Philadelphia area and started her career in nursing at a family practice office in Penns Park, PA.

She was a member of Doylestown Mennonite Church. Sara Faye was a member of the Pennsylvania Nursing Association.

She enjoyed cooking, travel with late husband and church members, singing, playing the piano, reading, crocheting, bowling, and playing cards.

Sara Faye was a role model for her two sons in caring for patients in the neighborhood and her community.

She is survived by her two sons, David J. Moyer & companion, Sarah Starbird of Poland, ME, Robin N. Moyer & wife, Mari Anne of Chewelah, WA; her nine grandchildren – Tara, JD, Adam, Bethany, Luke, Micah, Jesse, Ben, & Grace; her eight great-grandchildren – Chelsea, Oliver, Silas, Andre, Amelei, Ave, Autumn, & Brielle; and her two brothers, Dennis Ochs & wife, Mary Jo of Bethlehem, PA, Frederick "Rick" Ochs & wife, Stella of Seltzer, PA.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Theodore Ochs, and Adam Ochs, Jr.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11:00 am at Doylestown Mennonite Church, 590 N. Broad St., Doylestown, PA 18901, followed by an informal visitation at 12:00 pm. This service will also be in remembrance of her late husband, John Nelson Moyer. The service will be livestreamed.

A private inurnment will take place at Doylestown Mennonite Cemetery.
