Sarah "Sally" Ann (Gahman) Moyer , 87, of Harleysville, PA; formerly of Parrish, FL & Souderton, PA went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Peter Becker Community.
Sarah was the loving wife of the late Ronald H. Moyer for 44 years. She was born in Pipersville, PA to the late Joseph Tyson Gahman and the late Anna (Meyers) Gahman.
Sarah graduated from Pennridge High School, class of 1954. She later graduated from Upper Bucks County Technical School, class of 1987 with a certification for a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Sarah worked as a dental assistant for the former Dr. Gates in Doylestown, PA. She then worked as a production worker for the former Del-Bar in Perkasie, PA. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She also worked part-time as a cafeteria worker for the Souderton Area High School as well as a part-time music and piano teacher in her home.
Sarah taught music at Faith Christian Academy in Sellersville, PA and she worked as a nurse's aide for Telford Lutheran Community. Upon receiving her LPN license, she worked in the skilled care unit for the Peter Becker Community.
Sarah was a former member of First Baptist Church in Perkasie where she played the piano. She was a former member of Faith Baptist Church in Sellersville where she played the piano for over 30 years. She was a former member of First Baptist Church in Parrish, FL where she played the piano. She formerly was an attendee of the Souderton Mennonite Church.
Sarah had a passion for playing the piano and even wrote many cantatas including ones for Easter & Christmas. She always loved being together and doing things with her late husband. She enjoyed playing games and cards, traveling, and camping.
Sarah was a creative, dedicated, loyal woman who had a strong faith.
She is survived by her two sons, Timothy Floyd & wife, Lynn of Anoka, MN, Randall Floyd & wife, Donna of Harleysville, PA; her daughter, Karen L. Eisenhard & husband, Craig of Harleysville, PA; her seven grandchildren – Sarah, Becky, Jason, Courtney, Ronda, Kimberly, & Kirk; her 13 great-grandchildren – Ralston, Greyson, Tyler, Charlie, Alucard, John, Charles, Isla, Dean, Amelia, Augustus, Ulysses, and Juniper; and her brother, Joseph David Gahman & wife, Connie of Quakertown, PA.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marian Nyce and her brother, Joseph Daniel Gahman.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 11:00 am at Peter Becker Community Chapel, 800 Maple Ave, Harleysville, PA 19438.
A private burial will take place at Souderton Mennonite Church Cemetery.
