Sarah (Reed) Miller , 89, of Souderton, PA entered into rest on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at The Birches at Arbour Square.

She was the loving wife of the late Eugene G. Miller for 58 years. Sarah was born in Dogtown, PA to the late Elmer Reed and the late Laura Walter Reed.

She graduated from Selinsgrove Area High School. Sarah was employed as a School Bus Driver for Transportation Services Inc. of Souderton, PA for 20 years.

During her life, Sarah volunteered at the Care & Share Thrift Shoppes of Souderton, PA as well as HonorHealth hospital in Phoenix, AZ. She also served at the oyster and ham dinners at Indian Creek Church of the Brethren. Sarah was a member of the Jaycee Women's club of Souderton, PA.

Sarah will be remembered as a great matriarch that was a devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her large family. She was an avid golfer that enjoyed camping, traveling, margaritas, and vegetable gardening, and was one of the EAGLES biggest fans. She held a special love for animals, especially her Weimaraner Cheyenne, her Pug Nutty and her cat Maggie. Sarah was a loving, outgoing, strong willed woman with a great sense of humor and she was always to the point.

She is survived by her two daughters, Connie R. Glorioso, and husband, Wayne Remillard of Sellersville, PA, Donna E. Redmond, and husband, Larry of Limeport, PA; her son, Steven E. Miller and wife, Sandi of Sellersville, PA; her six granddaughters, Michelle Redmond, and companion, Ronnie of Macungie, PA, Laura Glorioso-Moyer and husband, Cory Moyer of Red Hill, PA, Marie Eckman and husband, David of Pottstown, PA, Sarah Shive and husband, Tyler of Coopersburg, PA, Bekah Ruth and husband, Scott of Schwenksville, PA, Katrina Long and husband, Ed of Sellersville, PA; her four grandsons, Michael Landis and wife, Lisa of Warrington, PA, Bobby Glorioso Jr. and husband, Rich of Chalfont, PA, Joshua Redmond and wife, Margreth of Quakertown, PA, and Noah Miller of Sellersville, PA; her 11 great-grandchildren, Michela, Isabella, Adrianna, Alexander, Mikayla, Olivia, Eric, Ashley, Aubrey, Joshua Jr., and Scarlett; and her two great-great-grandchildren, Lyla and Ellis.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sarah was preceded in death by her brother, Elmer Reed and her sister, Ernestine Morris.

A viewing will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, PA 18964 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm.

The family encourages all guests to wear any EAGLES gear for the service.
