Sharon Marie (Stanton) Roher , 67, of Quakertown, PA; formerly of Doylestown, PA passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at her residence.
She was the loving wife of Arnold R. Roher for 46 years. Sharon was born in Weatherford, Texas to the late Francis P. Stanton and the late Marlene G. (Padgett) Stanton.
She graduated from William Tennent High School in Warminster, PA, class of 1970. Sharon graduated from Bucks County Community College with a degree in business and then graduated from DeSales University with a master's degree in criminal justice.
She worked as a telex operator for the former Paramount Packaging in Chalfont, PA, as a bus driver for Central Bucks School District, and then as a title clerk for the former Jack Rabbit Auto Tags in Doylestown, PA. In 1979, Sharon opened her own business, "Roher Auto Tag Service" in Quakertown where she worked there with her husband for last 40 years. She also worked as a secretary and auxiliary member for the town of Seaside Heights, NJ, as a landlord for Kearney House Rentals in Seaside Heights, NJ. and did volunteer work for the fire department in Seaside Heights, NJ.
Sharon was a former member of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Parish in Warminster.
She loved spending time with her family especially her granddaughter, Hailey. Sharon enjoyed going to the Seaside Heights beach and collecting shells. She also enjoyed shopping, gardening, collecting antiques, and going to auctions. Sharon loved dancing and singing, listening to ELVIS, and going to broadway shows. She enjoyed being involved in school activities and taking some time for herself at the spa. Sharon also enjoyed traveling nationally and internationally and wintering in Florida.
She was a beautiful, independent, social, intelligent woman who had a great sense of humor and was always willing to help others.
Sharon is survived by her three sons, Nathan K. Roher of Quakertown, PA, Scot R. Roher & wife, Betina of Chester Springs, PA, Gregory D. Roher of Quakertown, PA; her daughter-in-law, Kimberly N. Nettles of Upper Black Eddy, PA; her granddaughter, Hailey A. Roher of Upper Black Eddy, PA; her two grandsons, Logan R. Roher of Chester Springs, PA, Rowan A. Roher of Chester Springs, PA; her three brothers, Francis P. Stanton, Jr. of Willow Grove, PA, Norman J. Stanton of Chalfont, PA, John E. Stanton of Quakertown, PA; and her sister, Cathleen Henry of Ventnor City, NJ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Laporta.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on September 26, 2020 at 12 Noon at the Roher Residence. Please contact the family directly for details.
