Shirley Ann (Stover) Kulp , 94, of Souderton, Pennsylvania, entered into rest peacefully on Friday, May 29, 2026, at St. Luke's Grand View Hospital.
Born in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, Shirley was the daughter of the late Donald D. Stover and the late Elizabeth (Stover) Stover.
A 1949 graduate of Souderton Area High School, Shirley dedicated her life to her family and community. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love and support touched generations. For more than 25 years, she was employed in Customer Service with the former American Olean Tile Company in Lansdale.
Shirley was a faithful member of Immanuel Leidy's Church in Souderton. She found joy in reading, playing cards—especially Pinochle—and spending time with her family. She was an enthusiastic fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and the Philadelphia Eagles and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on her favorite teams.
Known for her warm smile, generous spirit, and wonderful sense of humor, Shirley was a woman of strength, determination, grace, and style. She worked hard throughout her life and was always thoughtful and caring toward others. Her kindness and unwavering love for her family will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
Shirley is survived by her four children: Bobbie A. Conolly of Souderton, PA; Bruce W. Kulp and his wife, Joan, of Zionsville, PA; Douglas "Doug" K. Kulp and his wife, Melissa, of Freemansburg, PA; and Beth A. Kulp and her husband, Dean, of Pennsburg, PA; her six grandchildren: Erica J. Kreiner and her husband, Scott, of Whitehall, PA; Adrian B. Kulp and his wife, Jen, of Mount Juliet, TN; Eric M. Kulp of Jim Thorpe, PA; Travis A. Kulp of Santa Monica, CA; Sabrina R. Sheak and her husband, Robert, of Wind Gap, PA; and Jarod N. Kulp of Mertztown, PA; her eight great-grandchildren: Jade E. Kreiner, Zoe J. Kreiner, Ava G. Kulp, Charlie M. Kulp, Mason J. Kulp, Evelyn M. Kulp, Hailey M. Sheak, and Dylan D. Sheak; and her brother, James R. Stover and his wife, Paula, of White Pine, TN.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Jeremy "JD" Dean Kulp, and her sister, Phyllis Proctor.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Leidy's Church, 273 W. Cherry Lane, Souderton, PA 18964, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
Private interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Souderton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Leidy's Church, 273 W. Cherry Lane, Souderton, PA 18964.
