Tan Van Nguyen , 76, of Souderton, PA, formerly of Viet Nam, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones on Saturday, January 30th, 2021 at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, PA.
Tan Van Nguyen was born in Thai Binh, Viet Nam, to his father, Trieu Van Nguyen and his late mother, Thinh Thi Nguyen.
In Viet Nam, Tan Van Nguyen was a police officer.
He courageously relocated his family, parents and siblings out of Viet Nam in 1975. He arrived as an immigrant in the United States of America on October 6, 1975 via Indiantown Gap, PA and worked hard to provide a better life for his children.
He became a naturalized citizen in 1993.
Tan Van Nguyen was a member of the Chua Linh Quang Buddhist Temple in Telford, PA.
He enjoyed doing home improvements, making clothes for himself or his children, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. As a family man and friend, he left a mark with his integrity and open-hearted humility, in that he was always accepting and fair-minded of others. He was a friend to all in the community and cherished by many.
In addition to his father, he is lovingly survived by his: two sons, Marcus Nguyen of Quakertown, PA and Anthony Nguyen of Philadelphia, PA; his three daughters, Kim Moskowitz of Souderton, PA, Loan Alexander of Schwenksville, PA and Phuong Norkevich of Easton, PA; his 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; his five brothers, Tuan Nguyen of Philadelphia, PA, Tho Van Nguyen of Souderton, PA, Nam Nguyen of Souderton, PA, Duc Nguyen of Souderton, PA, and Casey Nguyen of Souderton, PA.
He was preceded in death by: Mother, Thinh Thi Nguyen, Daughter, Ngan Luvender, and two brothers, Tan Duy Nguyen and Tinh Nguyen.
