Tanya (Smakula) Garcia , 38, of Telford, formerly of Sellersville, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

She was the wife of Rony Garcia. Tanya was born in Sellersville, PA to the late David and Cheryl (Young) Smakula.

Tanya graduated from Pennridge High School, class of 2004. She was an avid cheer leader for seven years. She was employed in Retail Sales.

Tanya was a member of the Bucks County SPCA.

Tanya was a devoted and compassionate mother who enjoyed cooking. She will be remembered as someone who would assist anyone in their time of need. Tanya loved animals, especially elephants. She also enjoyed watching movies with her family and had a dream of one day living on a lake.

She is survived by her brother, David M. Smakula & wife Danielle of Telford, PA; her six children, Jacob, Christian, Cayla, Jonathan, Selena, and Anthony; her three nieces and a nephew.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, PA 18964.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
