Theresa "Terry" M. (Albert) Lauchman , 80, of Souderton, PA formerly of Telford, PA went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 27, 2023 at Souderton Mennonite Homes.

Terry was the loving wife of the late Robert Milton Lauchman and loving companion of Russell E. Joerg, Sr. She was born in Edmundston, Canada to late Claude Albert and the late Sadie (Picard) Albert.

Terry was a 1961 graduate of Limestone High school in Limestone, Maine and then graduated from Grace Downs Air Career School in New York City.

Throughout her working lifetime, she was employed as a secretary for the Souderton Area High School, AEL Industries, Inc. in Lansdale, PA, McNeil Pharmaceuticals in Ft. Washington, PA, Merck, Sharp & Dohme in West Point, PA, and Landis, Hunsberger, Gingrich & Weik, LLP, Souderton, PA, until retiring in 2009.

Terry volunteered at the Souderton Mennonite Homes where she brought her dog, Abby to visit the residents, twice a week for 5 years. This brought her immense enjoyment. She was a former member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Hatfield, Pa.

Terry enjoyed crocheting, reading, ceramics, and traveling. Her most favorite city to visit was Paris, France. She was also passionate about animals, especially dogs.

Terry was a devoted wife, companion, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a sweet, loving, kind, caring woman who loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Terry is survived by her son, Mark J. Lengel of Harleysville, PA; her daughter, Kelly I. Parsels & husband, Eric of Grove City, OH; her nine grandchildren, Mark D. (Jess) Lengel of Quakertown, PA, Chelsea K. Lengel of Pennsburg, PA, Austin "AJ" J. Pessel of Denver, CO Nicholas "Nick" P. Lengel of Tamaqua, PA, Robert "Kyle" K. (Alyssa) Pessel of Grove City, OH, Dylan T. Parsels, Columbus, OH, Stephen G. Lengel of Tamaqua, PA, Jarod M. Parsels, Grove City, OH, Michael N. Lengel of Harleysville, PA; her great-grandson, Connor Lengel of Quakertown, PA; her great-granddaughter, Brielle Lengel of Quakertown, PA; and her two brothers, George Albert & wife, Madeline of Mildenhall, Suffolk, England, John E. Albert of Limestone, ME.

In addition to her parents, husband, and companion, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Ralph W. Lengel and her step-mother Therese (Daigle) Albert.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, Pennsylvania 18964 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 am. The service will be Livestreamed.

A future inurnment will take place at St. Peter's Union Cemetery.
