Obituary

Thomas (Tom) Allen Neubert, 78, of Spring City, beloved father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend; formerly of Chester Springs, PA was entered into rest on Friday, April 10, 2020.

Tom was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late John F. Neubert and the late Elizabeth (Opat) Neubert. Tom attended Sell-Perk High School, in Perkasie, PA. Tom was self employed at Cleaning Systems, Inc. in New Britain, PA. and was in the industry for more than 30 years.

Tom is a veteran of the US Marines Corps during the Vietnam War, serving both overseas and in the United States, entering service as a Private and earning the rank of Corporal. Tom began his service in the Marine Corps Reserve, based in Quantico, Virginia in 1959. For his service, Tom earned both a Sharpshooters Badge and a Good Conduct Medal. He served honorably in the Marines, successfully completing both his field artillery cannoneer and advanced infantry combat instructor's training.

Tom's experience in the Marines played a very important role in his life. He is known most fondly for his mantra, "Semper Fi, Do or Die." Tom would often talk with his loved ones, reflecting with pride and gratitude how being a part of the Marine brotherhood so very much enriched his life.

Tom was a Lifetime, active member of the US Marine Corps League and an active member of the American Legion Post #602 (Thomas O'Conner Post Home, Inc.) in Spring City, PA.

More than anything, Tom loved spending time with his family, his children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins, frequently going out with his family for dinner and eating "sushi", and socializing with his friends and staff at the Southeastern Veterans Center in Spring City, PA where he resided for over 13 years. Tom was well-loved by residents and staff alike. Throughout his life, Tom enjoyed farming, antiques, antique cars, loved his 1965 Chevelle, and liked to restore furniture as a hobby.

Tom is survived by his sons, Jason Neubert of Perkasie, PA; his daughter, Tiffanie Jerilyn Goulazian of Yardley, PA; four grandchildren, Joseph, Jonathan, Liam. and Lila; his two sisters, Elizabeth "Bitsy" Bauder of Coopersburg, PA, and Caroline "Carrie" and Jim Hull of Sellersville, PA. Tom was preceded in death by his son, Justin Troy Neubert, and his brothers, Johnny, Robert, Ronald, Raymond, and Russell Neubert.

Burial will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, with military honors, scheduling details to follow.
