Timothy "Tim" T. Evans , 74, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Telford, PA passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021 at his residence.

He was the loving husband of Janet A. (Dean) Wambold. Tim was born in Frackville, PA to the late Frederick Evans and the late Ann (Eiche) Evans.

He graduated from Souderton Area High School in Souderton, PA, class of 1965. Tim worked as a paving roller operator for Haines and Kibblehouse in Skippack. He then worked as a groundskeeper for Twin Woods Golf Course in Mainland, PA and then for Bella Vista Golf Course in Gilbertsville, PA. Tim was a member of the International Operating Engineers Union #542 in Hughestown, PA. He was a member of the American Legion Post 234 in Souderton. Tim was a longtime coach for the Souderton Area Midget Football Association. He was inducted into the North Penn – Souderton Sports Hall of Fame in 1998 for his football accomplishments.

Tim was a sports enthusiast and loved playing and watching football, golf, and tennis. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR on TV and in person. Tim and Janet loved traveling, especially to the Caribbean and Lambo Field.

He was a hardworking, congenial man who had a good sense of humor and lived life to the fullest.

In addition to his wife, Tim is survived by his three step-children, Keith Wambold of Carversville, PA, Douglas Wambold of Aurora, CO, and Lorrie Rowan & husband, Robert "Rob" of Kittery, ME; his four step-grandchildren – Melissa, Jaime, Derek & wife, Laura, and Stephanie; and his three step-great-grandchildren – Jade, Eva, and Megane.

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.

A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion Post 234 in Souderton on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 3:00pm – 6:00pm.

Inurnment will take place at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
