Vernon "Bud" Laudeman , Sr., 96, of Harleysville, formerly of Jeffersonville, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 27th, 2022 at The Birches of Harleysville.

Bud was the loving husband of Virginia (Freese) Laudeman for 73 years. He was born in Wildwood, New Jersey to the late Roy Laudeman and the late Beulah (Kramer) Laudeman.

A graduate of John Bartram High School class of 1944, Bud joined the US Army and served two years as a private with Co. "C" 742 ^nd Amph. Tank Bn., Fort Ord, CA. After discharge from the Army, he continued his education to become a Certified Public Accountant. He worked many years as an accountant with Henkles and McCoy, retiring at age 70.

Bud was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great great-grandfather, who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He and his wife had an amazing life together, traveling the world and making a lifetime of memories. He had a passion for music and dancing, playing the drums and growing roses.

In addition to his wife Virginia, he is survived by his daughter, Patricia Welsh, of Lansdale, PA and his son, Vernon "Chuck" Laudeman, Jr and his wife Imelda, of Palm, PA; his four grandchildren, John, Tracey, Amy and Christina, and six great-grandchildren, Kayla, Anthony, Devin, Sydney, Kaylee and Justin, and two great great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Tatum.

Bud was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Blubaugh.

Bud was a former member of Grace Lutheran Church in Norristown.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 12th, 2022 at 11:00 am at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, PA 18964.
