Vesta S. Moyer , 95, of Souderton, PA entered into rest on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville, PA.

Vesta was born in Souderton, PA to the late Elmer B. Moyer and the late Lena K. (Stout) Moyer.

A graduate of Souderton High School, class of 1946, Vesta received her Master's Degree in Education from Goshen College in 1950. She was employed as a school teacher for North Penn School District for 33 years.

Vesta was a member of the National Educational Association. She was a life member of the Souderton Mennonite Chuch where she served as an adult Sunday school teacher for 70 years. She was a board member and served on many church committees and in other capacities. She also led a Bible Study in her home for many years.

Vesta had an adventurous and fun-loving spirit with a positive and encouraging attitude to live life! She was a devoted friend who always was ready to listen and converse with genuine care. Her strong faith and generous ways will always be remembered.

Vesta enjoyed traveling throughout North & South America, visiting all 50 states. She also traveled to Europe, the Holy Lands, and Turkey.

Vesta is survived by her nephew, Brent Moyer & companion, Donna Mast of Telford, PA; her two nieces, Coleen Bishop & husband, David of Spartansburg, PA, Janet Bartholomew & husband, Michael of Perkiomenville, PA; her sister-in-law, Gladys M. Yoder of Souderton, PA; her two step-nieces, Sandra Horst & husband, Gale of Reading, PA, Gladys Brand & husband, Alan of Sellersville, PA; and her step-nephew, Dean Yoder of Souderton, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Marvin & Harlan Moyer and her two sisters, Lois Moyer & Eunice Moyer.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Souderton Mennonite Homes Summit View Auditorium, 207 W. Summit St., Souderton, PA 18964 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am.

Inurnment will take place at Souderton Mennonite Church Cemetery.
