Virginia "Ginny" F. (Crooks) Tjarks , 93, of Lansdale, PA; formerly of Telford, PA & Cheltenham, PA passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Elm Terrace Gardens.

Virginia was the loving wife of Henry B. Tjarks for 48 years. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late William T. Crooks and the late Florence C. (Graf) Crooks.

She graduated from Olney High School in Philadelphia, PA, class of 1948.

Virginia worked at Bell Telephone Company of Philadelphia for more than 20 years. She then worked as an unofficial paralegal for UCAC in Philadelphia, PA. Lastly, she was employed as a secretary for the former Associated Heating & Air Conditioning in Willow Grove, PA.

Virginia was a former member of Germantown Lutheran Church and Zion Lutheran Church Olney in Philadelphia where she played the organ. She was a current member of Little Zion Lutheran Church where she served with the prayer shawl ministry.

Virginia was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Philadelphia and a longtime volunteer at the Indian Valley Public Library in Telford.

She loved music and enjoyed playing and teaching the piano. Virginia also enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Virginia was a friendly and helpful woman.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, David W. Koenig & wife, Mary Ann of Souderton, PA; her three step-Sons, Henry D. Tjarks & wife, Meg of Boyertown, PA, Paul D. Tjarks & wife, Yvette of Kapaa, HI, Mark D. Tjarks & wife, Angela of Mililini, HI; her grandson, David W. Koenig, Jr. of Perkiomenville, PA; and her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and her step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her brother, William T. Crooks, Jr.
