Vivian M. Larson , 88, of Harleysville, PA passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at The Community at Rockhill in Sellersville.

She was born in Erie, North Dakota to the late Orlando C. Larson and the late Alice M. (Port) Larson.

Vivian graduated from Hunter High School in Hunter, ND. She graduated from North Dakota Agricultural College (now known as North Dakota State University) in Fargo, ND where she received a bachelor's degree. Vivian then graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI where she received her master's and later her doctorate.

She was employed as a Director of Virology Research for Merck Sharp & Dohme Research labs in West Point, PA for more than 35 years.

Vivian loved traveling to North Dakota to visit her family. She was an avid reader who enjoyed fly fishing and being at the farm. Vivian also enjoyed wintering in Tucson, AZ and spending summers at Lake Lida in MN.

She is survived by numerous cousins and her lifelong friend, Patricia Ann Totten of Harleysville, PA.

As per her request, there will be no services.

Inurnment will take place at First Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hunter, ND.
