Obituary

Wanda Edna (Byerly) Davis , 85, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Worcester, PA went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Quakertown Center.

She was the loving wife of the late John Willis Davis for 55 years. Wanda was born in Chestnut Hill, PA to the late John Henry Byerly and the late Anna Mae (Lightkep) Byerly.

She graduated from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School in Plymouth Meeting, PA, class of 1956.  Wanda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

She was a member and formerly very active at the Fairview Village Church in Eagleville, PA where she volunteered much of her time, went on missions trips with Work & Witness, and was part of the special plays and the Christmas cantatas.

Wanda enjoyed gardening and hosting pool parties and cooking food for family and church friends. She loved spending time with her "little darlings" and having tea parties with her granddaughters. Wanda was an avid reader and student of the Bible.

She was a very sociable woman who had a spirit of giving and serving and loved to exercise her gift of hospitality.

Wanda is survived by her son, Lloyd Phillips Davis & wife, Barbara of Souderton, PA; her daughter, Robin Elizabeth Davis of Hatfield, PA; her six grandchildren; her one step-granddaughter; her 25 great-grandchildren; her two step-great-grandchildren; and her one great-great-granddaughter.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Daryl Davis; her granddaughter, Amanda; and her two brothers, Donald & Earl Byerly.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
