Obituary

William "Bill" S. Parker , 84, of Sellersville, PA; formerly of Souderton, PA passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at The Community at Rockhill in Sellersville, PA.

Bill was the loving husband of the late Fay C. (Ulmer) Parker for 42 years. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Alan Parker and the late Jemima (Hendry) Parker.

Bill graduated from Germantown High School in Philadelphia, PA, class of 1957. He went on to Drexel Institute of Technology (now Drexel University) where he participated in the ROTC as a Platoon Leader.  In 1962, he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.

Bill began his career working for the accounting firm of Wolf and Company in Philadelphia, PA.  In 1970, he started at the former Rorer Pharmaceuticals in Fort Washington as the general manager of financial statements. He worked the majority of his carrier at Rorer, with his final position as Comptroller.

Bill was a prior member of the Chalfont Fire Department. He was also a member of Calvary Church of Souderton where he and Fay volunteered to stuff bulletins, and they participated in the small home group.

Bill was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He had fond memories  of Long Beach Island and the summers he spent there working as a lifeguard in his teenage years.

Bill will be missed by his children and their spouses, Jeffrey L. Warren & wife, Laurie of Sellersville, PA, Lynda Ziegler & husband, Barry of Hilltown, PA, Pamela A. Parker of Plymouth Meeting, PA, Cynthia L. Amoroso & husband, Mark of Canton, CT; his eight grandchildren - Justin, Jared, Scott, Zachary, Matthew, Mark, Michael, & Kate; and his three 3 great-grandchildren - Dalton, Silas, & Claire.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 27th, 2024 at 11:00 am at The Community at Rockhill, 3250 State Road, Sellersville, PA 18960, followed by an informal visitation.

Inurnment will follow at Hilltown Union Cemetery.
